Description
| Year | 2024 |
| País | Portugal |
| Region | Douro |
| Classification | Doc Douro |
| Location | Quinta Vale Dona Aida |
| Soil | Schist soils with granite outcrops, at altitudes between 500 and 600 metres. The rugged topography and significant diurnal temperature variation favour the production of fresh, mineral white wines with bright acidity and a defined aromatic profile. |
| Grape varieties | The vineyards were recently restructured and planted with two traditional regional varieties: Rabigato and Arinto. |
| Viticultural Year | The 2023/2024 growing season was marked by a mild winter and a very warm spring and summer, though without prolonged heat extremes. These conditions promoted an early yet balanced ripening, with low disease pressure. The harvest was brought forward by 2 to 3 weeks, ensuring excellent grape integrity and preserving natural freshness. |

| Vinification | Grapes are harvested into 20 kg boxes and received at the Winery. Manual sorting and stalk-removal is followed by mechanical treading, with maceration and alcoholic fermentation in the stainless steel vats. |
| Maturation | Aged on fine lees in stainless steel tanks. |
| Keep | If stored under ideal conditions (15 to 18°C; 70% humidity; horizontal position), it will evolve positively for a minimum of 7 years. |
| Drinking | Serve at 8–10°C. Pairs beautifully with fresh, ingredient-driven dishes, Asian specialties, and semi-cured cheeses. A wine with structure and tension, ideal for pairings with sweet and sour flavors. |
| Tasting Notes | Bright lemon-yellow color with a youthful hue. On the nose, fresh floral notes, subtle citrus, and hints of wet stone. On the palate, the structure is driven by vibrant acidity and a textured presence. It finishes with medium persistence and a clean, focused sensation. |
| Technical Sheet | 13% alchool, 6.8 g/L total acidity and 79 kcal/100ml. |
